Supported Independent Living (SIL)
Have a Space To Call Your Own
If living with family is no longer an option or if the amenities in your current home no longer accommodate your needs, our NDIS Supported Independent Living (SIL) service can match you with a home – living by yourself or with roommates – that tick all your boxes.
Live every day on your own terms!
All of the homes operated by Engage Abilities are staffed by our team of qualified and experienced support workers. To maintain the dignity and privacy of our residents, there isn’t any signage or advertising on our properties. Our homes are staffed in accordance with your roster of care and include all amenities, meals and internet.
SIL & Assisted living could include:
Assistance with personal care activities
Assistance with domestic activities and household tasks
Active overnight support or sleepover support
Clinical care such as medication administration or management of specific conditions.
Supported Independent Living residents are encouraged to make the house their own – put up posters, photographs and paintings; whatever you like to make it feel like home. Get in touch with our helpful team for more information on vacancies in our SIL properties.

Engage Abilities Testimonials
Amie, 3 Year Old Son With Disability
“We receive plan management from Engage. They are great. The bills are always paid on time and if I have any questions I just call and chat to Nic and she answers my questions.”
Shauna, Autistic 11 Year Old Son Connected To An Arabic Mentor
“It was really good having a Mentor that understood our beliefs and what was important to our family. It helped our son learn new skills much quicker and build stronger connections with the rest of our community.”
